as-requested basis. This is a collection of 26 tunes Kurt recorded live
at Oaklana Planation, Bertie County, N.C., on November 4, 2007. As
stated in the liner notes:
The recordings are
lightly edited, and the tunes are in the order that they were played.
There is no silence between the tracks, and instead, the inevitable
conversations among the band members and audience are all left in to
separate the tunes, along with the false starts, wind noise and missed
endings. These are good recordings of what we experience when
playing for the fun of it.
